Its easier than you think to brew your own homebrew, you can easily get the all the equipment you need and make a great beer or lager within 30 days. Once you have the equipment further batches save you money with kits available from £20 - £25 producing 40 pints (less than £1 a pint!!!). Once you have perfected your flavours you can make sure each one of these is the perfect pint for your taste.

The initial outlay to make your own homebrew isn't as much as you may think. The initial set up of beer kit and homebrewing equipment can start from around £50 if you purchase the great offers available at The Thornton Homebrew Centre. Below is a list of the essential items you need to get started making your own homebrew.

To save time you can just order the homebrew equipment starter kit, this contains almost everything you need to get brewing you just need to pick your beer/lager/cider or spirit kit and bottles to put it in.

Making A Purchase

All stock on the web site is subject to being in stock, as the site is not a live ordering system and we do run out now and then.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Debit/Credit card payment, but not American Express or Visa Electron.

We do not charge for any item until it is packed ready to ship. Backordered items are charged at the ordering stage.

When your order confirmation is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. (if you are using a hotmail or gmail account please check status of order, as these confirmations often ends up in server spam).

Some of the pictures are not of the actual items, The wording of the products is correct but sometimes we used the same picture for different items.

We reserve the right to cancel any order as we see fit, but we shall give notice to why.

Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We use a SSL certificate this uses encryption when you enter the card details.

Please note we can't accept an international payment and delivery to the UK, you need to place the order with a UK card registered to the UK address.

Guarantee

If an item is broken, please inform us within 10 working days of the delivery of the item and we will arrange a replacement within 3 working days (subject to stock holding).

Please note mail order is mail order, some cans will arrive with dents in, we always try our best to pack the parcels correctly, but dents do happen, we don’t class a dent as damage as the kits are still usable. But if they are badly dented/leaking then we will replace them.

Mail Order for the UK, takes on average between 10-15 working days, which is delivered by Royal Mail Under 1kg or APC over 1kg.

If a problem happens with the delivery please let us know and we will do our best to help, we can talk to APC to help solve the problem.

We cannot leave parcels in bins/wheelie bins as these do get collected and have done so with our parcels in them. So please don't ask, as this instruction will not be adhered to.

If you leave us your mobile number/email address we can add this to your parcel and APC will send text messages/emails about the delivery.

Sorry please note we cannot accept orders to BFPO addresses or PO BOX's, or collection boxes. We also do not deliver to the Channel Islands including Jersey, Isle of Man & Isle of Wight.

Due to the UK not being part of the EU we no longer offer any shipping to the EU.

We are not responsible for late deliveries that may of happened once the parcel has left us as we will try and get the parcel out to you as fast as we can.

Please contact us if you have any problems, problems do happen but we are always here to help.

Please report non-delivery after 20 days of placing the order and IT MUST BE before 30 days. IF over 30 days there isn’t anything we can do to find your parcel or refund for the goods, it is down to you to let us know of a problem.

Orders are dispatched by post/carrier to the name and address you have given to us. If we have received incorrect or inadequate information for the delivery of the goods we cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery as a result of this. Our Carriers delivery times are 8.30am - 4pm, during busy periods up to 7pm has been known.

If you fail to respond to cards or any communication that have been left by us or the carriers and the parcel is returned to us via the carrier. We will refund the cost of the goods minus an administration charge of £5.00 for each parcel returned to us as this costs us money.

By you agreeing to these terms and conditions before you place an order means you are over 18 years old.

If you request a none signature delivery, like "leave at back of house" We are not responsible, neither are our carriers for the loss. We will not replace or refund any parcels that have not been received, as these have more than likely been stolen. We reserve the right not to leave the goods if for a high amount.

Please be aware we do from time to time we pack goods inside other goods, please always look inside other boxes like starter kits, or equipment if you can't find missing items. We do this to reduce damages and save space.
